The problem of building a green economy in China

The article addresses the problem of building an ecological civilization as a complex project based on abandoning the utilitarian development concept and creating a new concept of balanced economic and ecological development, harmony between human and nature, improvement of the ecological culture of society. A broader understanding of the idea of a green economy is one of the main points in this article. Green economy is interwoven into a wider context of building an ecological civilization, this means the harmonious development of society and nature, improvement of ecological culture. The results of this study allow us to identify the following areas for further theoretical search within the framework of the green development discourse: energy revolution, innovative models of economic growth, protection and restoration of the environment.
