The article raises the question of understanding individual freedom in a contradictory modern society through the prism of Hegel's philosophical approach to this problem: reason, truth and freedom are philosophical categories of the same order.The author examines this philosophical category in relation to the content of the modern educational process focused on the competence-based approach.
