A review of paradigms studying the deviant gender identity

The thesis lists several theories and approaches for studying homosexuality as a form of manifestation of human gender identity. Researcher can be more open-minded, using multiparadigmal method, variety gender identity can be shown, deviation relativity incongruity sex and gender will be noticeable. The instrumentalism and the essentialism demonstrate duality of deviance gender behavior in the context of modern Russian society. Study of gender by means of ethnosociology is considered.
