The issue of greenhouse gas emissions in the Russian energy sector

In this article, the problem of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere was considered. This problem is essential within the framework of the modern ESG agenda. The largest impact in terms of emissions was exerted by the energy sector of the economy. In addition, the article reviewed the statistical data of Rosstat, as well as the relationship with mining. As a result, it was concluded that there is a need for regulatory emission control, as well as the development of the ESG agenda among companies.
