The problem of environmental pollution of solid waste in Karachay-Cherkessia

The urgency of the research problem is substantiated. This paper provides an overview of municipal solid waste, and discusses the problems associated with their disposal. The General characteristics of municipal solid waste are given: classification of municipal solid waste, the main types of domestic and industrial waste.Promising solutions to the problem of MSW and their utilization in the KCR are proposed. After all, in the process of development of human civilization, the absolute amount of solid waste is steadily increasing. This is due to population growth, excessive concentration in cities and changes in people's lifestyle.
