Issue of consumer protection in retail sale and proposals to improve the legislation in this area

The article deals with the problem of consumer protection in the retail sale and proposals on perfection of legislation in this area. The author pays attention to the combination of the Russian Civil Code and the Law of the Russian Federation “ On protection of consumers ’ rights ” at the conclusion, amendment and termination of a retail sales contract, and current problems and makes some concrete proposals to improve legislation for protection of citizens-consumers ’ rights in the market of goods and services.
