From the perspective of the sociology of management a city is the center that involves globally the most remote communities and connects various territories. A big city increases significantly the townsfolk''s anxiety due to the fast pace of life and diversity of economic, professional and social life. The city can be analyzed in the sociology of management in the context of lifestyle of urban residents, dependency of people's life from the city space, peculiarities of identity determining the urban communication. The city can be described as a mapping of socio-cultural processes in the space. The sociology of management creates conditions for studying the city as a representation of the sociocultural processes taking place both in the intraspace of the city and at the state level. The city as a research object is interesting for the sociology of management also because it is not only one of the most important elements of the culture, but is a space of socially significant meanings. The city controls the processes of worldview of the city residents, and the city residents through the changing world outlook control the processes taking place in the city.
