Problem aspects of management and development of single-industry towns as single-industry municipal forms

The article examines problematic aspects of the management and development of single-industry towns in Russia at the present stage. The problems and barriers to the development and management of single-industry towns as single-industry municipalities are analyzed. Attention is focused on the formation and development of territories of socio-economic development. The problems of functioning of these municipalities in the context of the functioning of territories with special economic regimes are indicated using the example of territories of rapid socio-economic development.
