Problem methodological issues in determining the amount of lost profits

The article discusses the debatable issues of determining lost profits, such as the economic and legal content of the concept of lost profits, the use of various approaches to calculating income losses, determining accumulation and discount rates, accounting for fixed and variable costs, taking into account the time factor and the process of processing the results of calculating lost profits. The advantages and disadvantages of debatable positions are considered and a number of methodological solutions are proposed.
