Problematic issues of state control of a contract system as determinants of corruption

Purpose: To improve the current system of state control of the procurement of goods, works, services for state and municipal needs in order to reduce the level of corruption. Methodology: Formal-legal and comparative methods, analysis, synthesis were used. Results: A Number of problems arising in the implementation of state control of the contract system in the sphere of procurement of goods, works and services for provision of state and municipal needs were identified. Novelty/originality/value: Recommendations were proposed to eliminate problematic issues of exercising state control in the contract system, allowing to increase the level of its transparency and reduce the level of corruption manifestations in this area.
