The problems of digitalization of the tacit cooperation of citizens with the bodies carrying out operational investigative activities

Introduction: the article examines the problems arising in the activities of operational units of internal affairs bodies in the detection, prevention and prevention of digital crimes committed on the Internet information and telecommunications network. Materials and methods: the normative basis of the study is formed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, operational-investigative legislation, local regulations, state authorities. The methodological basis of the research was the general dialectical method of scientific cognition, which has a universal character, as well as cognitive methods of generalization and description, methods of observation, comparison and analysis. The result of the study: the problem of countering crimes committed using the Internet information and telecommunications network is the most relevant in the theory of operational investigative activity at the present stage of development of society, which has both theoretical and methodological and applied nature. As part of the study, among the additional measures to improve the effectiveness of countering the category of crimes in question, it is proposed to increase the pace of digitalization of paid confidential cooperation under contract, including the introduction of the institute of anonymity of the type of cooperation in question. Findings and Conclusions: made it possible to clarify certain provisions related to the development of new approaches to operational investigative counteraction to crimes committed using the Internet information and telecommunications network.
