Digitalization issues of the sphere of culture in the Russian federation

The article is devoted to the issues of digitalization of the sphere of culture and art in Russia. The goals and objectives implemented within the federal projects for the development of culture in the Russian Federation are analyzed. The necessity of forming an attitude to the digitalization of culture as the most important resource of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation based on the analysis of the digital culture development in the EU member States is substantiated. Issues of digitalization of culture in the Russian Federation connected with availability of information and communication technologies for the population, measures insufficiency for achievements advancement of culture by means of digital technologies are revealed. Solving the problems of digitalization in the sphere of culture in the Russian Federation will attract additional investments to the sphere of culture for its development and social functions.
