Problems of professional competence formation within the framework of increasing the competitiveness of specialists in Russia

The article substantiates the relevance of the topic of professional competence formation in the framework of increasing the competitiveness of specialists in Russia. A review of research on this issue is made. The article also analyzes the state of the labor market in the Russian Federation and describes the situation on the labor market of the Russian Federation for 2022-2023, including an analysis of the level of competition among specialists in different industries and identifies the specifics of the demand for certain competencies of specialists of different age categories. An important aspect of the article is the use of Rosstat data as an example, illustrating the dynamics of the workforce and its changes in composition within the framework of the application of competencies. The paper also substantiated the features and listed the main problems and factors affecting the formation and development of the most important competencies of modern specialists and the level of their demand by age. The study concluded that professional competencies have a significant impact on the competitiveness of specialists, identified important areas of this process and proposed methods for their solution. It was also emphasized that innovations in the field of developing sought-after competencies play a key role in the long-term development of the labor market in the country.
