Problems of state support of small business in the Omsk region

The relevance of studying problems in the field of state support for small businesses is due to the fact that this sector of the economy is a potential driver of economic development and is a source of growth in regional budget revenues, which is even more important in times of budget deficit. Small business in Russia still lags behind its development indicators in other countries. As the main indicators studied in this work, the support measures provided by the Omsk Regional Business Incubator, as well as the effectiveness of these measures, were analyzed. A study was also conducted of the quality of government support measures provided in the Omsk region. The study identified the main problems of state support for small businesses, such as insufficient premises provided to small businesses, an insufficient list of services provided, high wear and tear of equipment, and insufficient effectiveness of state support measures. To solve the identified problems, a number of measures have been proposed, among which we can note the reconstruction of premises, the expansion of the types of services provided through consultations on marketing and financial planning, the establishment of a feedback system with entrepreneurs, and the organization of public events to increase the awareness of entrepreneurs about government support measures. The implementation of these measures will improve the efficiency of government support measures for small businesses in the Omsk region, carried out through the Omsk Regional Business Incubator.
