Problems and perspectives for population life quality increase in regional rural area

On the basis of a sociological research conducted in the Republic of Tatarstan the analysis of rural population life quality by different indices is presented. A comparative analysis of life quality of the countrymen and the townspeople has been made. The results demonstrate that the gap between them is broadening.
