Problems and prospects of public-private partnership in children's health improvement

The article presents an analytical study of the use of public-private partnership (PPP) in the provision of sanatorium and resort services in children's health institutions (CHC). The essence of PPP is described, and the formulation of the concept fixed at the legislative level is given. The approaches to the definition of the concept of "public-private partnership" are revealed. The models of PPP in the sanatorium-resort sphere used in the world market are described. The problems of using the PPP mechanism in the field of healthcare and providing sanatorium-resort services to children are identified, and the measures that need to be implemented for the development of PPP in the industry are presented. The main problem of the implementation of PPP projects in the field of children's health improvement and the provision of spa services is the different target setting of public and private partners. A schematic diagram of a PPP in the field of sanatorium and resort services in the CHC has been developed. Considering the variety of forms of children's health institutions, it is concluded that it is advisable to create a specialized coordinating PPP in the provision of sanatorium and resort services to children of the body (council, commission, etc.). Examples of successfully implemented projects of modernization of preschool institutions using PPP mechanisms are given.
