Problems and prospects of development of single-industry towns in the Russian Federation

The article deals with such municipalities, in the development of which the key role is played by the enterprises of the city-forming complex, which is one or more enterprises of the same industry or related industries connected by a single technological chain. The economic indicators of domestic cities with a single-industry economy are studied and the conditions that contribute to the further development of such single-industry towns are described.
