Problems and prospects of tourism development in Magadan region

Аnnotation: This article discusses the problems and prospects of tourism development in the Magadan region. On the basis of the study, the trends of popular types of tourism among young people were revealed, which allowed to learn their preference in the field of tourism. The comparative characteristics of the US state of Alaska with the Magadan region are provided, on the basis of which the ways of solving the problems hindering the development of tourism in the Magadan region were developed. As a result of the analysis of the state of tourism in the Magadan region, problems and solutions are formulated. The actions taken by the Government of the Magadan region to eliminate the problems that slow down the development of tourism in the region are indicated.
