Problems and prospects of «mixed» kinds of criminal sanctions

The article studies the provisions of criminal law with regard to the regulation of such «mixed» kinds of punishments as fine, prohibition to hold certain posts or practice certain activities, restriction of freedom; the gaps of the criminal law, taking into account the views of reputable scholars have been identified; the author makes a number of suggestions for improvement of the criminal law with the aim of building a more effective system of sanctions.
