Problems and prospects of labor migration at the present stage

The article explores the issue of labor migration in the Middle East. The region is one of the main destination regions for migrant workers worldwide, and in recent years their number has increased significantly. The share of migrants among local workers is one of the highest in the world. Many of these migrant workers are low-skilled workers in sectors such as construction and hospitality, or domestic workers. Migrant workers make a significant contribution to the development of destination countries and send vital remittances to their families and communities, but many of them face a number of decent work challenges. The donor countries and recipient countries of migrants from the countries of the Middle East are analyzed.
