Problems and prospects of currency integration of Eurasian Economic Union

N this article, all possible problems and obstacles that exist for creation of a currency area in the countries of Eurasian Economic Union are analyzed, and some changes that need to be made before the process of currency integration begins are also highlighted. The final conclusions reflect the hypothesis initially set forth in the article about the absence of the necessary conditions for the creation of an optimal currency area, therefore a number of actions should be implemented immediately to harmonize both the monetary policy and other spheres of the economy of Eurasian Economic Union countries.
