Problems and practice of using electronic digital signature

The practice of using an electronic digital signature (EDS) is analyzed, which is necessary for the implementation of an electronic document management system and has mechanisms for protecting the transmitted documentation. The possibilities and limitations of using a simple and qualified digital signature are shown. The advantages and disadvantages of using an electronic digital signature, as well as the reasons for the low level of its prevalence in the Russian Federation, are investigated.
