Problems and priority areas for improving the system of customs and tariff regulation of Russian Federation

This article is devoted to the study of the problems and priority areas of improving the system of customs and tariff regulation of the Russian Federation at the present stage. The author considers the theoretical aspect of the significance of the issues of customs and tariff regulation. The article analyzes the role and fundamental goals of the state policy in the field of customs and tariff regulation, as well as the essence of the most characteristic problems of the current system of customs and tariff regulation of Russian Federation. The article describes the key areas of customs authorities development strategy until 2030 and gives an overall assessment of the prospects. On the basis of the proposed study, the author makes a proposal for the interstate integration of the activities of customs authorities.
