Problems and contradictions of social and enviromental development of Russia's regions: intergenerational and intercultural aspects

The article deals with some features of the Buryat Republic socio-ecological development. The Republic of Buryatia is the main guardian of the fresh water Lake Baikal. This article shows some ways of socio-ecological relations development of last and present generations living in Lake Baikal area. The comparative analysis of these socio-ecological relations has also been made. It especially considers some issues concerning the establishment of intergenerational moral duty based on traditional way of life of the peoples in the region.
