Uncertainty in financial markets have prompted many retail investors to invest in structured products, which offer to protect their capital and also suggest attractive yields or market exposure. The aims of the article are: to examine structured products' characteristics in Russia, to identify problems and risks the retail investors face when they make a decision to invest in the structured products.
