Challenges and opportunities of effective correction of cardio-vascular insufficiency in ischemic heart disease

The results of investigation about the combination of levosimendan with beta-adrenoceptor antagonists and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, diuretics, including aged patients were not presented in a literature. Study enrolled 45 patients with ischemic heart disease complicated with decompensated heart failure. Levosimendan was injected to all patients. A group A (n = 24) younger 60 years and a group B (n = 21) older 60 years were separate out. Levosimendan usage in an ischemic heart disease combination therapy with decompensated heart failure led to clinical compensation achievement, the improvement of heart and vascular morph-functional parameters. An intrapulmonic pressure decrease is more significant among aged patients.
