Problems in estimation and interpretation of life quality of population of the region

Problems in estimation of life quality of the population of the region with the application of qualitative methods and data of official statistics are analysed in the article. Life quality is treated as complex characteristics of the conditions for life activity of the population, expressed in objective indices and subjective evaluations of satisfaction with material, social, cultural and other life conditions.
