The article is dedicated to the problem of sustainable development with analysis of economic, environmental and social specifics of the process. The reasons and causes of current global environmental crisis are mentioned with analysis of such data as Sustainable Society Index of Eurasian countries. The author writes about the benefits of “green economy” as a possible way to overcome the crisis in Eurasia.
