Problems of quality of life: regional aspect

The paper considers the problems of assessing and improving the quality of life of the population at the theoretical-methodological and practical levels. The article provides an overview of approaches to assessing the quality of life and developing regional programs to improve the quality of life of the population and analyzes the results of integrated rating assessments of the quality of life in Russian regions. The main directions for improving the ways of assessing and improving the quality of life in the Russian regions are presented, the main of which are: the need to develop unified approaches to conducting objective and subjective assessment of the quality of life; improving the quality of public administration in the regions; increasing attention to the problems of socio-economic development of resource regions; identifying vulnerabilities and threats to the quality of life and developing measures for their prediction and neutralization.
