Problems of qualification of vandalism

This article examines the actual problems of the qualification of a criminal act under Article 214 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which relate to the qualification of vandalism. Attention is focused on the problem of the correct legal assessment of a criminal act, taking into account the objective and subjective characteristics of vandalism, which are set out in criminal legislation, as well as on the difficulties of distinguishing the considered encroachment from related criminal acts. In addition, this article presents proposals for overcoming the identified problems.
