The article discusses the direction of Swedish literature, the central theme of which are representatives deals with the problem of representatives of the current generation, whose childhood had on the mid 60-ies of 20 th century - the era of active construction of the Swedish “Homes for the people”. Roman by M. Axelsson is one of the most significant works, which investigated the psychological, social and ethical reasons behind many of the members of Swedish society to abandon unhealthy upbringing of children, and leave them in specialized clinics. The author of the novel shows the relationship between the sufferings experienced in childhood, and emotional instability in adult life. M. Axelsson uses fragmented narrative style, combining the real and contingent plans, duality techniques, monologue form of speech. The text is a typical example of the Swedish women's socio-psychological prose-oriented comprehension of the problem of personal identity.
