Problems of the higher school modernization of the Krasnodar territory in the "perestroika" period

The article considers the problems of modernization of system of higher professional education Krasnodar region and of Krasnodar in the 1985-1991 focuses on the analysis of scientific and pedagogical activity of the teaching staff of universities, new approaches to organization of educational process in conditions of "perestroika". The policy of "perestroika", which involved the universities of Krasnodar region, was filled with ideas of improving the system of higher professional schools. It is concluded that the achievements and the account of the errors of the reform of the universities in the second half of the 80-ies - early 90-ies of XX century can and should serve as a basis for developing new standards, training programs and software systems, approaches to production practices, research activities of faculty and students.
