Problems of legal information provision of convicts, suspected and accused in establishments of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia in Perm krai

The article touches upon issues related to the problems of providing convicts, suspects and accused with legal information in the institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. The materials are prepared on the basis of citizens’ complaints to the Ombudsman in the Perm Krai of the period from 2012 to 2017. Also, proposals are made to change the current legislation. Is coned the issue of the need of creation a system of legal information for citizens in the institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia with the use of a high-speed Internet system; introduction in practice of the institutions of the health care unit No. 59 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia located in the correctional facilities of telemedicine consultations.
