Problems of ensuring fire safety of storage tanks of oil and petroleum products

This article identifies the problems of fire safety of oil and petroleum products storage tanks. Problems associated with losses, to varying degrees, affect all parts of the functioning of the petroleum product supply system and are important indicators of the technical improvement of all operations, from transportation to the sale of petroleum products. The annual increase in the volume of oil production and refining caused an increase in the volume of not only individual reservoirs, but also in general reservoir parks. The oil and gas complex of the Russian Federation is one of the most important components of the economy.
