Problems of ensuring food security in Russia in the context of a pandemic

In vegetable production, the decline in production is due to the inability to move migrants across the border for seasonal work, which is why agricultural organizations have reduced the acreage under vegetables. In the milk market, in the context of a pandemic, milk exports are increasing in some regions of Russia, while in other regions, commodity stocks are increasing to critical volumes. The increase in exports of dairy products is observed against the background of non-compliance with the criteria of The doctor of food security for milk and dairy products, since the population’s ability to pay has significantly decreased.
