Mercury-containing waste management problems

The sources of mercury-containing waste generation are considered, their fugitive and uncontrollable input to the total mass of the domestic solid wastes are analysed. The environmental effect of the mercuric fraction within the Household Solid Wastes is investigated. The mercury-containing waste impact mitigation measures with regard to the advanced experience are suggested. The current technologies and mercury-containing waste plants are introduced.
