Education problems in the context of spiritual safety of contemporary Russia

In article current problems of education from the point of view of spiritual safety as a special type of national security of Russia are analyzed. The characteristic of contemporary Russian school is given: transition to-level system; standardization of an education system within which federal state standards of the higher education directly coordinate with professional standards; increase in a role of research work in educational process along with training; active introduction of information technologies. The questions which have collected in recent years reforming of domestic higher education in organizational and administrative aspect are considered (carrying out inexplicable strategy of merging of higher education institutions; education elitarization; realization of the tough bureaucratic approach conducting to an excess formalism; the low social status of the teacher) and in substantial aspect (a mismatch of contents of educational programs and inquiries of practice, orientation to growth of volumes scientific activity, for the purpose of earning money, along with pedagogical). A number of the contradictions inherent in a modern education system is opened: between the level of culture and education level; between the purposes of education and means of their achievement; between form and content in education; between training and education; between common cultural and highly specialized orientation of education. Due to the processes of modernization of domestic educational space the threats of spiritual safety assuming search of ways of counteraction by him are designated.
