In the considered article the question concerning correctness of performance of painful methods of fight is brought up that promotes lawful use of physical force in the course of daily activity of staff of Department of Internal Affairs and also efficiency of measures of personal security. A problem which in modern conditions gained the greatest relevance is application of coercive measures by police thus that they met the requirements of the principle of legality which is fundamental Department of Internal Affairs in activity.
