The article considers the problems of organization of territorial Police Emergency Control Centres in Russia. The author describes the functions and tasks of the Emergency Control Centres, acting for all the subdivisions of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. The responsibilities of the duty officer are characterized in detail. The research outcomes can be implemented in the law enforcement practice.
