Overturism in modern world and domestic tourism: the problem and ways to solve it

Modern tourism is one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy, having a significant impact on the natural, social, cultural and economic environment of destinations. At the same time, the rapid growth of the tourist flow is accompanied by its significant unevenness, which leads to an excessive number of tourists in some tourist places, and insufficient in others. Overtourism, excess tourism - these are the terms that appear more and more often both in scientific publications and in the media. Therefore, the purpose of the article is to study the problem of overtourism and ways to solve it. The author of the article analyzes the reasons that influence the growth of the tourist market, and identifies the factors leading to excessive tourist flow in individual destinations.
