Problems of increasing the efficiency of agricultural production in the Kyrgyz Republic

This article provides a detailed analysis of the current state of the efficiency of agricultural production in the Kyrgyz Republic, which was the purpose of this study. The agricultural sector is one of the main priorities of the social and economic policy of the state. The full functioning of the agro-industrial complex is aimed at solving the most important socio-economic task of the country - the reliable provision of food to the population, ensuring the food security of the country as a whole. Despite the large share of agriculture in the structural component of the country's national economy (25%), its share in GDP at the end of the period under review was only 11.7%. The reasons for such a low efficiency of agricultural production were identified, and some ways out of this situation in the country were proposed. The necessity of changing state policy was substantiated, where the development of agriculture should be a priority.
