Problems of legal regulation of the leasing contract in the civil law of Russia

The article discusses development of Russian civil and international (UNIDROIT Convention) legislation regulating such a phenomenon as leasing. Special attention is paid to the debatable issues of the legal nature of the lease agreement relating to the correlation of the leasing agreement with other civil law contracts: rent, purchase and sale, as well as the number of parties to a contract.
