Issues of cross-border cooperation with Mongolia in the context of migration policy of the state at the present stage

The article presents issues on prevention of offenses and crimes in the migration sphere. Especially this problem has touched those Russian regions, which border neighboring countries, particularly Buryatia, after the removal of the visa regime with Mongolia. Statistics indicate doubled increase of tourist’s inflow in both directions. However, the number of illegal acts do not correspond to the trends seen, or the situation remains highly latent.
