Problems of attracting foreign investments in the oil sector of Russia

The article focuses on the importance of the oil sector for the Russian economy and the role of foreign investments in its modernization and development. The main problems of attracting foreign investments in the oil industry of Russia are identified. Based on the results of the analysis, the article contains conclusion that structural changes in investment policy are necessary to activate financial flows to the oil industry.
