The paper considers problems arisen while vocational adaptation of new generation’ fashion designers to nowadays challenges of the fashion industry. Informatization trends are shown to lead to changes in requirements for expert awareness of market players. An adaptive strategy to new requirements is offered, with extended scope of designer’s involvement into the course of production and marketing of modern garments. The paper provided guidelines to make new generation’ fashion designers fully operational and purposeful.
