Problems of prevention of assistance by persons of youth age to organizers and members of terrorist communities

The article is devoted to the problem of assistance by young people to representatives of terrorist communities. The authors consider different points of view of researchers regarding the factors determining the promotion of terrorist activities by persons of youth age, measures for the prevention of crimes of this category. Based on the analysis of the results of sociological surveys, the factors of assistance by young people to representatives of terrorist communities and trends in radical behavior of this category of the population are determined. Based on the study of factors, the directions of improving the system of prevention of assistance by young people to representatives of terrorist communities have been determined. The analysis of existing concepts regarding the prevention of assistance by young people to representatives of terrorist communities is carried out. In the article, a certain place is given to criminal-legal measures for the prevention of assistance to representatives of terrorist communities. Particular attention is paid to the gaps in legislation (Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), which are used by representatives of terrorist communities. The authors propose some areas of improvement of the criminal law norm, in particular, to divide it into two articles in order to strengthen the criminal law impact. It is proposed to establish criminal liability of legal entities for crimes of terrorist and extremist orientation. The results of the study are of practical importance for specialized subjects of prevention of assistance to representatives of terrorist communities.
