Problems of investigation of drug crimes committed using information and telecommunication networks

Information and telecommunication networks, being an integral part of our daily life, open before us limitless opportunities, but, unfortunately, the rapid development of modern technologies corresponds to the emergence of new ways of criminal activity. Since the Internet is a virtually uncontrolled environment, persons carrying out illegal activities for the sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances are increasingly operating through this platform. In this regard, law enforcement structures have a number of difficulties in the investigation of this type of crime. The article studies the problems arising in the investigation of remote distribution of narcotic drugs, committed with the use of information and telecommunications networks.
