Problems of developing efficient agriculture in the work of the agricultural society of Primorye (based on the journals of meetings of 1911-1917)

The article focuses on the study of organized public initiatives in the agricultural sphere of the Russian Empire on the example of the Agricultural Society of Primorye. Studying Society’s journals of meeting from the Russian State Historical Archives of the Far East, the author identifies a range of problems that impeded the development of the agricultural sector of Primorye in the prerevolutionary period and analyzes the initiatives and activities of the Society aimed at improving the efficiency of the agriculture in the region.
