Problems of development of the system of local self-government in the Russian Federation and ways to solve them

The article introduces the problems of the development of the system of local self-government in the Russian Federation. With the beginning of the transformation processes in most regions of the country, there was an aggravation of social and economic problems caused by a decline in production, a decrease in investment activity, and a deterioration in the quality of life of the population. The main reasons for the current situation are lack of funding, imperfection of legislation, insufficient interaction of authorities.
