Problems of realization of economic independence of local self-government bodies of the Republic of Tyva

The economic independence of local governments plays a key role in the development of municipalities, ensuring their financial independence and the ability to implement local initiatives. In the Republic of Tyva, this independence is limited by high dependence on interbudget transfers, a narrow tax base and weak development of entrepreneurship. The article examines the main problems of the economic independence of the region's municipalities, analyzes the current situation and suggests ways to increase financial independence. The solution to these issues requires reforms in budget and tax policy, as well as the activation of investment activities.
